We have an 1/8th mile track less than an hour from my house. I was thinking of trying it this summer with my 03 Viper. Has anyone on here ever done an 1/8th mile??? From a spectator point of view it is great because after about an 1/8th mile you really can't see much anyway. Just wondering about how it was in a Viper and what times??? Thanks.

1/8th emphasizes staging, launch, and 60-foot acceleration, instead of top-end speed like 1/4th.

It's still very fun, and tends to go a little quicker through the pits than 1/4.

By all means, do it, you will have fun and learn a lot about getting your car off the line.
