Took the ACR out to the track again and ran a best of 11.08 @ 132.7 MPH, here is the video of that run, hold your reaction time comments, I was going for the launch, didn't care about the C63 next to me..
2008 Dodge Viper ACR 11.08 @ 132.7 MPH
I also ran a GT-R heads up which was a very interesting race.... We both hit the same 60' time, 1.78, but the GT-R blew right by me at the 1/8 mile, trapping a full 7 MPH faster and picking up 3/10ths. Then on the back half of the track the ACR holds tight and ends up trapping higher than the GT-R, picking up 34 MPH vs 27 MPH for the GT-R. Here is the video:
Nissan GT-R and Viper ACR
A "normal" 1/8 mile trap for a clean run in a 133 MPH car is usually in the 104-105 MPH range..... Is the gearing in the Viper that bad on the low end? 1st gear seems to take forever to get through....
I had a couple friends out that night, heard one of them got to run you a couple times. No competition for the viper yet but its a cool car. Bolt-on audi TT-S, was hitting low 12's.
