Definitely some nice MPH!!

I thought I had a strong '06 Coupe when I went 11.90 at 122.xxmph stock.

I've since made a few mods - DC Tune/170 t-stat; Corsa Track, Green Filters; PS2 Tires and 3.55 Gears.

MY best ET since the mods is 11.85 at 119mph w/ a 1.85 60', but slipping and sliding through 2nd and 3rd. Mid-Track was not very sticky that day.

But about a month ago we went to the strip again. ~75 degrees, Sunny, Beautiful Day! Though it easily felt as if it were over 80 degrees on the blacktop!
I managed to run 12.0x four times in a row, with MPH anywhere from 123 up to my new best MPH of 124.65 (12.001ET). No powershifting and my 60's were about a 1/10 slower at ~1.95. Also, I was spinning about 5-10ft. when shifting into 2nd gear.

With the MPH, I'm reasonably certain it has an 11.5 in it,,, on the right day.;)

I don't know what my current Viper will run in the 1/4mi but as soon as I can take it to a 1/4 mi track I will. I have only made 3 passes in the 1/8th mi at my home track, HOLT FLorida in Nov. Here is my best pass and I know it will run several 10s faster..

60 ft------1.5742
330 ft-----4.4149
594 ft-----6.3757
1/8 ET-----6.8129
1/8 MPH----102.94

My Viper is 1996 ROE S/C GTS. It use to belong to Mike Robbins and he has done an awesome job on the car as far as I am concerned.I am working on my driving so I can get the maximun out of my car.I am 62 yrs old so my reflexs arn't what they use to be, ha...I LOVE to DRAG RACE (at the track).. :drive: :drive:

Happy Vipering to all and "MERRY CHRISTMAS"

Keep working at it! An SRT should be almost 3/4 sec faster than a GTS.

Nice traps. You can get some mid 11 sec runs with that car as it is. May take a little practice but it should do it. Probably gotta feather that clutch out of the hole to keep the tires from spinning though.
