SEBRING:
We have carved out a deal with Sebring Raceway for the 12 hours of Sebring March 18-21, 2009. THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN IF WE HAVE GOOD PARTICIPATION. The local Central and North Florida club can not afford this alone, thus we will open this up to any VCA members that want to attend this great race, a good time to get out of the snow and ice in the North. We will have to have your RSVP and commitment early. We have a tent on turn #1 with close circuit TV, our own Port-O-Let, tables chairs, parking for 25 Vipers and a 4-day super ticket for 40 people. The cost at 40 people will be $215.00 / person. There will be additional charges when we work in the food. I am working on the parade lap. Please send back your interest in this event soonest to [email protected] Thank you.

Awesome work John! I soooo wish Sebring was a little closer, I would love to go. I've been to the 12 hour several times and it's one of my favorite races. You guys enjoy it!

That is a great race to be at! Any Vipers run it lately?

Only one last year. Not many Vipers at all since Dodge pulled out. Sebring is the ALMS biggest show and it isn't even a shadow of it's glory years. Most likely less than 40 cars will start the 12 Hours this year compared to two decades ago when 80+ cars would line up. For Sebring they should expand the field by including multiple race organizations like VRL or Ferrari Challenge or some others. They wouldn't be direct competion for the ALMS but they'd add a lot to the show.

So Chuck are you in?? I am not sure how many Vipers will be running, but without factory backing there probably will be more Fords and Caddys. Still it is a great Venue and a great place to group 25 Vipers together, especially if we get the parade lap. Might be a good show for anyone considering to buy the Viper brand????
