1989 / 2003 Concept to Reality - Must See Picture

While looking through my student manuals from 1993 I found this picture which I think looks a lot like a 2003. Maybe they knew what a second generation car looked like in '89.

What do you guys think?

That's very curious that the caption speaks about the original concept car, but the picture doesn't look quite right. Its like they stuck some miscelaneous drawing onto that caption.

Have never seen this design before, but to me it looks nothing like a viper does today or the new model. That is not to say though that it looks bad, actualy a nice design.
