1994 Gen 1 Reverse Lockout

I've only had my Viper for about a year and still learning about it. As long as I have had it, it has not had a reverse lockout. I can shift into reverse anytime I want by simply missing the fourth to fifth shift. It's not that much of an issue as I am never trying to get from forth to fifth with any great speed, but I am wondering if it is supposed to have a lock out. If it is, thoughts on why mine might not be working?

Yes, you should have a reverse lockout. Therefore, your problem could be a fuse, plug, wire, or the solenoid itself.

Interestingly, I did not see it listed under the various fuses in the 1994 service manual. In the 1995 manual, it appears to share fuse #9 with the blower motor.

Hopefully, someone more familiar with this will chime in.
