I am looking at a 1995 RT/10 it's in great shape, but I noticed 4 bubbles in the paint (as though rust was under the paint). This was on the driver side rocker ahead of the side pipes. Is this from heat?? or are there rivets under the paint that are rusting....what do you folks think? I've never seen this before....each bubble is the size of a finger nail and only found in that area. It's the only paint flaw on the car.

Thanks

The side pipe sills are aluminum and do oxidize. They will get blisters and then holes. They can be repaired. This is kind of normal for these cars (as sad as that is). I had mine replaced under warranty back when that was still possible. With the age now I am not sure that is an option. Contact you nearest Viper friendly dealer.

Great thanks.....Do you think a person could still get extended warranty on this car? Would that cover this? The car only has 12,000miles. Also I've heard people say the side pipe exhaust doesn't sound that great(I don't aggree)does Borla exhaust liven it up?
