1995 Viper Peeling Trunk

I am looking at buying a 1995 Viper and when I checked it out I found that the black coating on the inside of the trunk is peeling off and is quite bad not sure how that can be fixed. Has anybody seen this before or know how to fix it?

have them pay for a repaint inside. Tator Garage near you can help you out

Have you heard of this happening is it common or a sign of worse problems?

It or just the trunk probably has been repainted, or its from the broom handle being jammed in there to hold it up

Paint is peeling in mine too. Been tempted to paint it with a bed liner or something, so it will look nice but also be rugged.
