Everyone on this board (I think) confirms the change in 2000. Does this mean the article was incorrect? I am actively shopping for a 99rt/10 and one of the reasons is for the rough idle cam. Can anybody chime in here?

if im not mistaken (and i usually am as i pay little ttention to anything) the creampuff title was primarily due to the piston change thereby making them "weaker" but im no guru.

As you will see the 96 and 97 have the smallest Exhaust lift & Intake lift out of the gen II's, but has more Valve Overlap.

That 1 thou of less lift is needed for the EXTRA 6 DEGREES of power producing lope to optimize!!

Looks to me like 98-99 are the years to have as far as the cam is concerned. The difference in those and the 96-97 is VERY minor though.
