20 inch rims

Hello there,

I've been reading discussion postings here on the website for quite some time, but this is the first time I've ever posted. So.......hello!

Anyway, on to my question. Will 20-inch rims fit and function normally on a 1994 RT/10? Of course, I know that very low-profile tires will be necessary. Also, what is involved in adjusting the speedometer--or whatever else--to be correct when potentially going from 17" to 20"? Any and all comments are welcome. If you have any pictures of any Vipers with 20 inch rims, please send them through email([email protected])

I know that it may be kind of showy, but hey, the Viper already causes stares and double-takes. Why not take it up a notch?

The only 20" rims currently on the market are made by a company in Germany called StarTech. Rims look great - but cost is approx. $10,000 for a set and I haven't seen anyone on this board with these wheels.

Mike Adams in Canada has been working with HRE to make a set of 20" for the Viper. When I last traded correspondence with him he need 4 or 5 orders to get HRE to tool/program their machines to make the 20's.

Check out a recent post by Mike in the Vendor Specials Area. He posted pics of a Lambo with 20" HRE's and a Viper with 19's.

These guys make the rim to your specification. 17"-22"
They even have a Viper on one of the sample pictures.

WOW. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY SOMEONE WOULD WANT TO PUT TWINKIES ON A VIPER UNTIL I SAW THAT PIC! VERY IMPRESSIVE.
