2000 RPM\'s in 1st gear...

Does anyone have an issue with trying to drive along at around 2K on the tach in 1st gear and the engine rpms "bounce" back and forth between 2300 and 1900. I swear I am dead even on the gas pedal yet I get a little "rubber-necking" everytime I drive down my street as if I am tapping on the pedal. The street I live on has lots of kids, so I have to go 15-20mph for a ways... it is kinda bizzare. Any thoughts or similar experiences?

That's a Viper! I have had a 96 RT, a 97 GTS and now an SRT and they all do it.

Doctor, It hurts when I bend my knee, twist my ankle, and lean to the right, what should I do??? Don't do that, replied the Doctor.

I had a similar experience with my 00 RT/10 and just learned to avoid the exact throttle setting that caused the problem, though I was hoping they would have eliminated it with the single throttle body. Oh well!
