Hey guys - I'm putting a 3.55 gear in my 96 gts. The new ring gear has the later model larger bolts. I can't find a torque spec for these new larger bolts. I think they came factory in 2001-2002 Vipers. Can anyone help?

There are standard torque tables for all bolts by size, heat treat and thread pitch. The Service manual has this table near the front. Some applications recommend oiled threads and reduced torque values.

I think the later Gen 2's went to 1 size larger diameter ring gear bolts - like from 3/8" to 7/16"; or 7/16" to 1/2" IIRC. Go to the differential torque and lash table at the back of the diff section. Note the bolt size and torque callouts, then go to the big table in the front and compare to see if they match for that size. Measure your bolts. Then check the next size up for standard torque values.
