not sure why. that car just doesnt give me that warm and fuzzy feeling, if ya know what I mean. Hopefully Im wrong, and there is a new VCA member, that got a great deal. Not crazy about the valve cover repaint. But thats an easy fix.

I sure hope I can do better with mine! I've got to spruce up the listing some. I'll be terribly dissapointed if the market is THAT bad.

Just keep it for your "******" Scott.
The resale prices are gruesome.

A check against the VIN number indicates the original color of this car was RACE YELLOW. A closer look at the photo shows yellow paint in the rear wheel opening. This might have been someone's prize posession, but it certainly was no prize.

:lmao:

RELISTED FOR THE FOURTH TIME. DUE TO NON PAYING EBAYERS.

Something is definitely not right. A lot of miles also (46,000). :( :nono:

NICE find... You know. Sometimes you can just look at a car, and "something" doesnt add up.. This was one of those cars.. Hey, a repaint does NOT mean its a car to stay away from. But that better be HEAVILY justified in the price.. It appears, this is the case..

I need to get a better computer monitor !!! I never could see that yellow paint.

One learns something new all the time here. I didn't realize the paint color was embedded in the VIN !

i contacted the seller who claims that they know nothing about the history of the vehicle but that it was never in an accident. Florida car... high miles... color change... no explanation... i'd like a road-race car but gonna have to pass on this one.

I see you're from Chandler AZ. Meet me at the BJ Auction/Luncheon on January 19th and I'll give you a lesson on VINs.:)

I'll be there earlier in the week when more of the cars are still on the field to see, and crowds are smaller. Hope you enjoy the show! BTW, I hope that you didn't take my comment as questioning your decoding of the VIN. There was a thread about a Viper involved in a hit and run recently and someone posted that detectives couldn't match a license plate to a car's color. I looked at the Viper VIN description on the registry site and didn't see anything about color; so, I just made an assumption which, as usual, led me astray.
