FYI similar cars and years:
Recently thru a code related to evacuation system leak. Turned out to be a cracked rubber hose under left headlight at the selenoid. Found it cracked at selenoid and at transition from metal tube to rubber directly behind left head light. Roughly two hour fix after removing right rear tire and access panel for no reason. Now I know where the pump is located. Hope to never see it again.
Paid about $10 for rubber hose (5/16x14"). Need to remove headlight also. Hope this helps someone with similar aged rubber. Took about four drives for it to clear, but it be gone now.
Good luck

Thanks for the info. By the way, from http://www.obd-codes.com/...

P0442 OBD-II Trouble Code:

This indicates a fuel vapor leak in the EVAP control system. It means a very small leak has been detected. In fact, the leak can be from a hole as small as 0.04" in diameter. The (EVAP) emission control system prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel system. Fuel vapors are routed by hoses to a charcoal canister for storage. Later, when the engine is running a purge control valve opens allowing intake vacuum to siphon the fuel vapors into the engine.
