2003-2006 Coupe VS Convertible

I am planning to purchase an 03-06 year model Viper and wanted to know if there is any noticeable difference in the amount of headroom available in a coupe over a convertible or if it is the same? I have not had the opportunity to drive both yet and make the decision that way. I prefer a coupe, but I am 6'3" tall, so the Viper with the most headroom available will be my first choice. Thanks in advance for any info on this subject.

only 06 had a coupe since 02 , no 07's, if you are going to be driving much with the top up, you'll get more head room out of the coupe.

Stock you will probably be a little tall. You are probably going to want a seat lowering kit for either as you will get two inches of room.

I am 6'3" and the Coupe has lots of room for my height AND a helmet.
The SRT10 vert did NOT.

03, 04, and 05 are convertibles only. The 2006 Coupe , and the convertibles listed all can have a seat lowering kit installed with little issue. It is a much bigger problem on the 2008s and up. Get what you want and either can be made to fit. If you have long legs and a short torso, you may not even need any adjustment at all.

I'm 6"3 and drove my 05 vert for 1 year with the stock seat,and it's rather annoying trying too look through the windsheild header.Just ordered 2inch kit and can't wait too install.jmo you will want the same kit in vert or coupe,these cars are made the 6foot and under crowd.

just installed,night and day driveing postion,it's like driveing a car built for me.but i got to say it's abit of a ***** getting in and out.1 inch kit might have been enough????
