2004 dash vents

Greetings everyone. As of a couple days ago, I'm a new owner to a used 2004 and I have a question. Does anyone have a dash vent problem? Specifically, the two outermost interior dash vents (closes to the doors) have a tendancy to pop out and will not stay in place.

I've never read any posts in regards to that problem before.
Maybe check to see if the plastic housings may have a crack in them. It sounds like the vents have been previously removed.

I had that problem on my 04 also, just on the passenger side - I found that some passengers would actually hit the vent with their knee trying to contort their way into the car. - I found that once I popped mine back in it was okay as long as the vent wasn't directed all the way up or all the way down, but if it went all the way up or down it would leverage the piece right off the posts and pop out again. My 04 has a problem with the middle dash vent every time i take a hard turn it slides out of place i dont know if i should glue it or what. but i have not had any problems with the right or left sides.
