I have a 2004 with an electrical issue. When I turn my right turn signal on, the headlights/dash lights/ all turn on. Anyone know where to start? My first idea is to try and take the steering console apart and make sure it’s all tight and use electrical cleaner. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

It’s the stalk, one piece holds both sides. Most people just replace it, easy and about $175.

Replaced mine but it’s acting up again now a few years on. There is a product called DeOxit D100, might be worth removing it and hitting it with that product to see if it clears the problem.

Yep, I would look at the stalk as well. I had a similar problem, but mine would turn on the fog lights and strangely the A/C compressor light on the HVAC control module under the radio. I took mine apart because I'm just like that, lol. Turns out there is a little post inside it that pushes on a ramp when you turn the headlights on. The post had worn a small groove into the ramp so it was allowing things to make contact at times they weren't supposed to be contacting each other. I filled the groove in the ramp piece back in with some epoxy and it's been fine ever since.
