Pending how my visit to inspect this car goes tomorrow, I may be purchasing a 2006 VCA Edition Coupe (red/white stripe car). The owner previous to the current owner painted the dash/console red. As a result, it looks like the edition badging was never reaffixed to the console. Based on what I could find online, I don't see where the production number (i.e. #25 out of 50) is listed anywhere else on the car. How do I find out what number this car is?
I did check the VIN (1B3JZ69Z96V100979) and it does appear to be on the Viper Registry as a 2006 VCA car and yes, the decal is on the outside. I just can't tell which production number it is.
On that same note, is there someone out there remanufacturing these special edition badges? If so, I'd like to buy one if I end up with this car (putting the cart before the horse, yes I know).
