Thanks, Aaron. It was cloudy but dry yesterday, and I put around 100 miles on the car. I intend to do some more driving this afternoon. One of the things others have mentioned is the improvement in the shifter. It is
huge. There is a lot more spring pressure positioning the lever in the 3-4 gate. I think the days of worrying about missed shifts are over. The car sounds great. It's louder at idle than the Gen 3. Cabin is a lot cooler---you actually have to use the heater in 45 degree weather. Car is still plenty quiet in 5th and 6th, so you can talk or listen to music if you choose. The UPS sound is definitely gone, and the exhaust does not pop much on deceleration. There is a totally different sound at higher RPM than the 8.3 liter engine. Clutch and accelerator are different, but you forget the Gen 3 feel quickly. The car has no tendency to **** and buck at very low RPM. As you know, you always had to be ready with the clutch as you took corners in residential or congested areas. Herb Helbig said this is a direct result of the new VENOM controller. I am really lovin' this car! SRT did a great job.
