2008 Production Numbers

Note;

Concerning the 2008 Venom Red ACRs I was told there were 6 in the US. Is the 7 total correct, or am I to assume one went to Canada, or is this US production only? Mine is a " ********" and it appears to be the only one built -- correct?

I know you have shown that one Venom Red was done in 2009, so obviously this one is super rare.

Bringing this one back to life. Can someone look in their viper mag and see how many 08 Bright Blue Metallic with white stripes were built? Also is there anyway to find out how many of those came with the Blue/Black interior? Thanks =-)

I am new here so please forgive my lack of info, I just got a 2008 viper with only 622 miles, It is a venom red with silver strips and a two tone interior coupe, does anybody know how many they made with that combo ? Thanks

From Viper Mag. Spring 2009..looks like 8 verts (one of which had areo package), and 12 coupes (and maybe one more as an ACR).

From Viper Mag Spring 2009...looks like 23 verts (one of which had aero package), 48 coupes...and, you are on your own for the interior info.

I have a 2008 SSG Coupe w/no stripes in Alberta. I guess 36 were built that way. Is there stats for Canadian cars? Where can I find the 2008 Production Chart for Coupes that shows colors and with stripes or no stripes?

At that dark time during the Cerberus ownership, a Board Member wanted a new 2008 Viper and he wanted it in silver, which was not available. Being a Board Member (and an acquaintance of Nardeli) has its perks so he was able to order a special paint code as long as he was willing to pay for the added expense and handling. That's about all there is to it, surprised he sold it already!

Ah! The great mystery solved! Thanks for the inside scoop, that is really cool. No one knew on this board when I posted that for sale a few months ago. It was a private/consignment sale through a broker, but it was bought by another broker who immediately jacked up the price. I think it then sold to an unknown buyer, and it hasn't turned up here since. So I guess its lost again!

I wish we can get the breakdown on the 2008 COUPE production, in terms of color and striping, I see they have all of that on the convertibles, why can't us COUPE owners get to the bottom of this, it sounds like it is in every coupe owner's interest to find that out..... I have a coupe in Viper Very Orange mono color (no stripes) and am dying to find out how many it is out of built in that configuration ... Happy Vipering everyone.....

You did some fine job there, very detailed, maybe someday you can brake down to the interior 2 tone and monotone, I have a 2008 VVO with 2 tone interior (silver/ black), NO stripe car, based on your findings, they made 23 no stripes, of which some are all black and some with the 2 tone interior, I'm really glad to find out mine is 1 of 23, thank you and when you can brake it down even further as far as the interior is concerned, I would really appreciate it if you can share that info, thanks again.. I always worry about typo's.... however, my research is purely based on the VIN, so I hope it's pretty damn close. I have the data for the interiors, I just haven't had the time to break it down. As the snow starts to fly I usually have more time to put towards this effort. With the small number of 23, I'll see what I can do to just break out that set Vj

Wow, VJ, you're great, thanks for all your efforts, to be honest with you, I tried everything for the last 2 months, heck, I even called SRT hotline and tried that route, the only thing they provided me with was the total of 65 VVO coupes for 2008, they said they could not break it down any further, you have been great. I did not even know they had a sandstoem color interior, based on this new info, mine is one of 6, one of SIX, WOW!

Yea, I've seen that chart, it's a head scratcher for me too. I have the data to back up the 1596 Vipers I have for 2008. Not sure how those numbers came about

As a comparison, I also have 179 ACRs

I did a quick check on the Viper Violet just to make sure. I've always shy'd away from saying someone else's work is wrong. The only thing I can be confident in is what I have found
