Chris, again, thanks for your good work on the new colors. With the addition of the new Tan interior and top option, some of the 09 verts will really stand out!
No, I'm not ready for the "end of the Viper era" ... We all know that the existing V-10 will not meet 2010 air standards and as of today, no development money has been released from Chrysler for the Viper. Maybe the new 6.4 Hemi will find it's way under the hood of our well loved snake. The 6.4 should be a monster motor ... I would rather keep the V-10 but it seems no development is happening.
As for the White/Blue color combo I still feel Chrysler is splitting hairs. There are a bunch of stripe options for the White 09 Viper Coupe. Why offer blue with all the other stripe color options, given it should be a bit lighter?
If they offered Yellow with the same stripe and interior option of your VOI 8 vert you would be a bit up set ... It will take away the "Special Edition" status of our cars! I visited with a number of collectors that agree. The value of our cars will drop each time they are duplicated. We spent xtra money for our "Special Edition" cars and were told by Chrysler/SRT execs at our meeting that they would not be repeated.
I plan to pick up a 09 ACR but want to keep my VOI 9 "Special Edition" Coupe. I want all of us to protect the intgerity of not only the "Special Edition" cars but all of our Vipers! According to collectors, the value will suffer. Someting we all should pay attention to ...
Thanks again to all! We drive the best high performance cars on Gods green earth. Be safe and hope to see all you great folks at VOI 10!!!! Jon
