I am getting the itch to change something to be different as we have 4 Sapphire/Silver GTS's in the CO VCA chapter.
I did the SRT brake conversion recently and now am considering SRT wheels.
Looking for your opinions on these 2009 SRT wheels I photoshopped on.
Which do you like better, stock or SRT?

I like the 6 spoke better between the two but would look for something else if I was buying a new set. there are many really nice aftermarket wheels I would go with before the 6 spoke. again between the two choices I would go 6 spoke.

Explaining Viper things to you
6 spoke. The 99-02 wheels always looked too "chunky" to me

You must be still dwelling on my date for last Friday night, Miss Boeing 666.

Fat chicks aside, I'll have to go the '09 wheels, or be called a hypocrite with my SRT brakes on order to complement the iForged Classics I've got coming too.

Yeah, big open wheels, bad ass brakes.

I think the six spoke look great. I don't like the stock wheels at all, they look too flintstone to me. The BBS wheels look okay but are a little too busy. Major pain in the butt to clean too. Love the SRT wheels. Thats my vote.:2tu:

I have thought about this for my GTS... There is no doubt, the 09 wheel is better "looking"... BUT, does it look "correct" on an 01.... OR, does it "look" like an 01' with 09' wheels??? Something about the offset, does not look "right" on a GTS..

Hence, why I still have the stock wheels on my GTS... They "fit" the car...

The other wheel that look decent on a GTS, is the ACR wheels.. Which I was never a fan of... But hey, thats just me.. I like the 99-02 GTS wheels..

IMHO only one wheel for GTS

Agree, I put a set of ACR/BBS on my 00 GTS.

I agree that the BBS or Forgeline VR1 style is best. Personally, I don't see the point of wanting to expose the disks and calipers as a positive styling cue; but, to each his own. I just don't care for the totally open look; but, I agree that the OEM standard wheels are a bit too chunky.

Add me into this group. I think it's the best looking wheel ever designed!

I always thought your car had a "killer" stance in your sig. picture.. Stock, and LOW...

AND dont forget, you will lose some torque with the big wheels.. It WILL drive different.. I had an AMG Benz that I switched from 17's, to 19's.. The difference was HUGE..

Does going from 18 rears to 19 rears really make a big difference? I have a 3.73:1 rear end gear ratio.

The stance looks low in that picture as it was a high speed corner and the car hunkered down nicely.

I bet even with the 1' change, you'll feel it.. Going from 17's-19's made a HUGE difference..

I gotta go with stockers - that's why I bought a 2000 and not older.

I never cared for the ACR wheel - they look like every other "racer" wheel out there - it's a very common style. The 09's are nice - I didn't even know they made that wheel for 09... I like the SRT/10 RAM wheels - those would be different.

anything but the "wagon" wheels, but like some said, there are much better aftermarket choices over those 09's for prob the same $ or cheaper.
