who in canada has 2010 car on order, and do you have a vin yet?

I know US Dealers have the Vins now, so hopefully our Northern neighbors are in the same boat. Full D or D1 status just filled completely in a couple of days ago, and not sure if it would be a bit behind up North, but can't imagine why?
Good luck and just call your Dealer and see if he has a vin number today?

I received my VIN # Jan 25th. I ordered a red vert, the 2 other cars that were ordered at the same time did not have a VIN as of noon today when I checked the status of mine. I know one was a SSG coupe, not sure if its an ACR.

I have one on order, but have heard nothing yet and not even sure if I'll bother with delivery. I think that at this point, they will make a 2012 and the 2010's wont have the long term value I was thinking they would at the end of the day. I was going to buy it and put it away for 20 yrs, driving my '08 VVO vert...but now it doesn't sound like it'd be of much interest to me anymore.

wow i can not belive that there are so few cars ordered in canada. i was told from a cdn dealer a few months ago, that canada was to get around 75 cars. now they say around 25 what gives?
If it's a collector value you're after then the 2010 would be an excellent choice since there's only 500 of them. '92 (?) only built 350 or so units and being one of the very first that would probably be a better investment that would mature a lot sooner?
I am soooo disappointed in Car Museums. The only car Museum I've been to that hosted a Viper was the prototype at the Walter P Chrysler. Talk about disappointing ... Lots of Ferraris, Porsches and vettes. Maseratis are pretty common. Where's the Vipers???
I visited a couple museums on our cross country trip of 3,000mi. and the only Vipers I saw were 1 in Scottsdale, Charley Reid's in Seattle and several at Bill Luke Dodge. Hello - Vipers are so rare that there aren't any in Museums? I think somebody screwed up. As pointed out in several threads, there are a lot of rare Vipers and many built that are 1 of less than 30. None in Museums yet?
The Imperial Casino's "Car Gallery" in Las Vegas had several 60s Shelby Mustangs for sale at over $100,000. They had an '02 (?) Jaguar "world's Fastest Car" (before the McLaren F1) on display for a couple hundred thousand. A Gen 2 GTSR would have fit into their collection very well and could have seen a $200,000 price tag. I was looking for Harrah's Car Collection. Found out in seattle that the name was changed after he died and that's why there was no instructions to his car collection. Best car collection I've found so far was Harrah's in Reno. No Vipers when I was there either.
I expected at least 1 Viper at every Museum and serious car collection. Now, I'm thinking that maybe I'm slightly biased?
I've never seen any Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbos either.
Museums don't look for rare hp cars any longer? See a lot of vettes at most car museums though. Although I can understand 1 vette or perhaps a few vettes if the museum is huge ... under a hundred cars shouldn't have more than 1 vette and should include a Viper before a vette.
Buy several older Vipers and store them away if investment is what you're after. Perhaps store them in a nearby museum so that they'll be insured and maintained for you?

what did you order? i ordered 3 #1 is ssg special edition acr which i got last week #2 blue coupe silver stripes just came in. #3 is a laguna seca edition in J status should be in late aug or when the snow flyes. what is your vin #? mine were 320 330 347

I have a ssg special edition acr. ordered also . the vin # is 349.I am glad that you have got yours, what # is. Hopefully mine arrives before the snow flys.

My VIN is 453, does that mean the Easter Bunny is bringing it ??? I understand that this is a hand built car, and there are a lot SPECIAL EDITIONS and it takes time, but, c`mon, you think after building the car over the years that they would`ve had the ETA down pat !!!!!!!!! Don`t get all the secrecy.

Don't get me started. I have had MUCH easier times finding about about Cadillacs and Vettes and when to expect them and where they are in the process than I can for a car that is one of 500. You'd think having bought 7 Vipers would account for something.
Well, if the #s being delivered are in the low 400s it seems that (other than Prefect addittions) there are less than a hundred left to deliver. canada orders may suffer Bond/suffereage/warehousing issues?
I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to blame dodge when there is 2 Governments and customs involved.

Vin numbers do not correspond to how Vipers are finished. We have already delivered numerous cars in the 300s, yet I just received two today under 100.
The Final Editions appear to be the last cars being done, and this is logical. It was the last car approved and hence parts would come in later ---- I would estimate slightly more than half the cars have been sent to Dealers. We have quite a few still coming, and frankly they are moving at a fairly rapid pace compared to years past ( especially with all the winged wonders being done ).
Just a guess , but anticipate Vipers to be all shipped out by sometime in September ( fairly soon with August just around the corner ).
Hang in there , it will be worth it, these are the last of a breed --- nanny devices will have to come to Vipers in the future.
