2011 VA/MD Viper Club Event Calendar
3/26 - Romilos Lunch (2011 Business Meeting)
4/10 - Dyno Day
4/16 - Karting Event (Richmond or Fredericksburg, VA)
4/30 - Castaway Critters Car Show (Hershey, PA)
5/7 - Blackthorne Inn Cruise - Cruise the NoVA country roads of Loudoun County and stop for lunch at the Blackthorne Inn, a restaurant property once owned by George Washington. A cozy little Inn with plenty of parking and good food.
5/15 - Oil Change Day - Hosted by John Mavridis. Need to change the oil in your car or just want to hang out with the club? Come on up to Frederick, MD and git 'er done. John has a 4 post lift that can easily accommodate most Vipers. We'll request "sign-up" for lift time when the event gets closer, as there are only so many cars that can be done in a reasonable time.
5/21 - ******* Lunch. *******. What more needs to be said? This event has always had great attendance.
6/4 - Detail Day. Details TBD.
6/18 - Moparpalooza - Manassas Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge hosts this event. It's an "all MOPAR" car show event and offers food, prizes, music and more great looking cars than you can shake a stick at. We had somewhere in the neighborhood of 17 Vipers at this event last year.
6/25 - Crab Feast - One of the largest annual Viper events on the eastern sea-board. Come on out for all you can eat Maryland Blue crab, a great cruise over the bridge and great company!
7/8-7/10 - Carlisle- Mopar Nationals. This event at Carlisle Fairgrounds is always a winner. Come out for a day (or two or three if you're a ******** MOPAR lover) of show-n-shine goodness.
7/8-7/10 - NARRA at VIR (Formerly Viper Days): Are you a track rat, or just a Viper owner who wants to experience what your Viper is capable of in safe, controlled conditions? This event is for you. VIR is one of the best tracks in the country, offering a 4000 foot back straight, a 3000 foot front straight, elevation changes and curvy goodness. It's definitely a fun time if you've never done this before!
7/16 - Damons Lunch (Gambrills, MD) - Good food, good people. Catch up with others in the club over lunch.
8/13 - Bel Air Lunch - Street-side parking in front of a fantastic restaurant that gives us the roof-top patio to eat on. Very relaxing time.
8/22 - Charlestown Brunch/Cruise (Sunday) - Cruise the NoVA country roads and then head up to Charlestown Races and slots and the Hollywood Casinos for brunch at one of the establishments great restaurants.
9/2-9/4 - Baltimore Grand Prix - Details TBD. The first Indy Baltimore GP. This looks like it's going to be a great race!
9/10 - Chili’s (Eldersburg, MD) - Lunch
9/17 - Horsepower Challenge - Come down to Richmond and show the Corvette club what power is! Cumulative HP numbers decide which club is the king of the road, and see which car has the most muscle.
9/18 - Oil Change Day - After a summer of driving, this could be your chance to change oil for the last half of the year. Frederick, MD
9/24 - Karting in Fredricksburg - Details to follow
10/7-10/9 - Overnight Fall Cruise (3 Separate Days) - Details TBD
10/22 - Fall Crab Feast - Details TBD
11/5 - Western Maryland Fall Cruise (Sunday) - This classic fall cruise is a great day of cruising and viewing some amazing scenery, followed by lunch at a local eatery (ending in Frederick, MD)
11/19 - Pre-Thanksgiving Day Cruise - Details TBD
12/10 - Hiss-Mas Party - End of year gathering, details TBD
