Both were there along with other Mopar prototypes. I took a ton of pictures and will upload a little later.

Got exciting as they pulled the NY Autoshow cars (Red GTS and Silver ALMS) cars through staging together. We though okay this is it, GTS versus ALMS down the srtip at Bandimere, but they just brought them out to introduce to the crowd. Should have ran them down the strip. :)

Anyway, Ralph and whole crew came out to introduce them. Ralph was driving the ALMS car with the biggest grin. I can tell you EVERYONE in the crowd was commenting how awesome the GTS and ALMS cars sounded and this is from an NHRA crowd. Very, very cool! That Red NY Autoshow car, red in sunlight looked on fire and awesome but in the shade was pretty plain.

The more I see the new Viper, the more I want one. Never heard one negative comment on the car from the crowd.

We took a bunch more but they are spread across a couple of cameras with friends. All in all a great showing!

Has it been discussed why the ALMS car runs Michelins and not Pirelli's? Seems like a conflict of interest

You may think that's the GTS-R show car, BUT REALLY it's the coming ACR in disguise;):2tu::headbang:

As for the tires, according to one of Ralph's launch videos, Michelin chose not to provide the street tires because the size required would be a one of a kind. Pirelli did chose to respond. IMHO, FIAT may well have been the one who helped Pirelli make that decision. There are several cars which come with street tires from a different mfg than the racing tires. In Viper's case it was Michelin's choice. Everything done on the up and up.
