VERY similar mean looks to the new Viper in front for sure but the butt on the C7 is terrible with Camaro style lights, and the Vette guys are even saying so.

Really like it, but the front end really does look a lot like the new Viper. Normally I'm not one to say, "Oh they just copied a [insert car here]", but the shape of the LED, the single projector light, and the body line that runs over the housing into the front fascia are all things present in the new GTS.

If this car costs $50k it's going to be incredible.

Doesn't it seem that the "vette" is copying the Viper? The gen III comes out with a whole new look, then 2 yrs later so does the corvette, and with very similar styling especially the headlights. Now the Gen V comes out with a different look, and within a year, oh, so does the corvette, and look at that front end...just sayin !!!

They also copied the side windows with the smaller one behind the side widow and the rear glass looks similar I think. Sorry but the rear looks like a Robot staring at me. Hideous!

Yea they did the same thing in 2005 and copied a lot of the styling, how pathetic. Well, they are awesome sports cars regardless, the c7 should have great performance.

Exactly! and, just like with the Gen3, I'm sure people will say the Viper copied the Vette after a few years.

Hopefully this will prompt Dodge (SRT) to fund getting the body colored crosshair grill BACK on the VIPER!

The Gen V images were not released early enough for GM to copy them. Styling trends go a certain direction and both the viper and vette went a similar route. To say that the vette was drastically changed to copy the newest viper in the last few months just isn't so. Let's just hope that the viper gets some upgrades in the next year or so to distance it's self from the Zo6 and ZR1 that will no doubt come swinging with big punches. The ACR besting them isn't enough. All vipers should beat all vettes. The ACR should be icing on the cake, not the performance savior.

Do we get to troll on the Corvette forums and bash the new Vette now? Seems only fair to return the favor. Nah.....we have more class. Actually, the vette front is extremely similar. Corporate spys are alive and well for sure. My good friend at Calloway says they are planning a whole new rear for the Callaways as the mass hate the new vette rear end. Smart move! Maybe Callaway can put a new front on the Viper for all those who hate it too. Sounds like the perfect car is a Cor-viper. Ha! Ha! Front of the Vette and rear of the Viper. Rev up those photoshops.

That's ridiculous. Our government can't keep top secret info from getting out, you think these designers could? Not.

Way, way to similar in looks to be a coincidence.

Yeah this I hear you,but I doubt the Gen V can make a come back. GM is leaps ahead IMO..

Those pics are just "guesses". The reveal is tomorrow night. A lot of people will be watching the live stream. It's not gonna look like those renderings that are all over the web. We'll see tomorrow night what it actually will look like.

Ralph was able to keep the Gen V a secret from Sergio until he showed him.

Anyway, are you saying that our government is the best, most efficient secret keeper in the world or are you saying that there isn't a single secret held by the government that you don't know. In which case, how do you know?

Will be interesting to see what it looks like all together. Does look a lot like the Italia from the front.

Though, from that low, any car can look aggressive LOL

Oh brother! I just know people can't keep secrets very long either for money or an attempt to glorify themselves whether it is a gossiping old lady, a Government official or a car designer. People are the same.
