2014 SRT Viper Hood alignment Problem

Guys,

I was at my local Dodge Dealership and saw a new 2014 SRT Viper with a sticker $98.
Looking carefully, since the new hood is Carbon fiber, it has a slight curve in the middle.

Basically looking from left to right the hood didn't look aligned correctly. But then I noticed the hood actually had a slight "bow" in the middle, where I had to push it down with my hand.
I checked to see if the bumper was misaligned, but it wasn't. It's no doubt a problem with the hood. It's warped in the middle near the edge meets the front bumper.

Does anyone else have this issue with their hoods. When I pointed it out to the Sales Manger, he had his tech pull the car and take it to the back and said "We'll fix it".
Again, not my car, but it's in dealership stock.

Anyone else have or notice any hood alignment problems on their 2014?

hahahahah... Funny.... But seriously, he did agree with me, and he looked worried, as If It's not an alignment problem and he may need to replace the hood under warranty.

So I am wondering if other Viper owners notices a mis-alignment also. Because it may just be a one-off bad hood, or just a normal production variation.

i have seen this issue with aftermarket full carbon fiber hoods. My stock hood matches perfect and fits beautifully. I could be wrong, but I believe the hoods are not 100% carbon fiber...just the inside shell.

There are alignment shims for the fascia so they may just have to be adjusted.

Quality control???????? Thought they addressed that in the news for the new model. Guess not.
