Will they fit ok on the stock rim width?

That's the size I went with up front on my Gen II ACR with stock wheels. I haven't noticed any rubbing issues or anything like that. They do kick up a little more debris than the smaller size will, it's really not that big of a issue though.

Yes, they work fine even on the stock 10" rims.

I normally run 285s but have also tried 295s.

One of our club members even has gone to 305s on the front with the 11" Purner CCW wheels, on the track they are great, a little more difficult around town as they do rub a touch on full wheel lock.

Don't the Gen II Vipers have 17" wheels? Mine does.
