For the past few days I've been experiencing difficulties putting the car in reverse. All gears shift smooth and fine, it's just that sometime I'll struggle to throw the car in reverse. But in most cases releasing and pressing the clutch twice all the way will enable me to engage reverse. When the car warms up and if its hot outside it's even harder to engage reverse.
on the side note: It's like the clutch pedal is not fully able to press all the way in. I'll press the clutch all the way in, put it in reverse and then feels the clutch pedal releases some air and goes all the way down.
I would also like to note check engine light is on as well. I have not pulled the code, but it the check engine light came on a few days after I've noticed the car difficulty engaging reverse.
But everymorning I'll have absolutely no problem reversing out of garage.
any idea or input on what the issue is? Thanks guys.
