I know the Viper community is going to come loose on this suggestion but, here goes anyway.

If you have a back problem like many of us do, especially us golfers, pushing on the gas for a long period will only make things flare up so I would suggest having an after market cruise control installed. I know this is a No No but on long static cruises this will definately help the back.

im simply lucky then, cause mine never causes any discomfort even when i drove from cleveland ohio to LA and back, over 6000 miles. knee problems but those are simply old "war" injuries and were self inflicted. im 6'1" 221lbs so not quite your size, lucky me it seems
