What do you guys think? Is 53,000 a good price for a FE with 6,000 miles? The front facia and one of the side sills needs a repaint, other than that everthing looks pretty good.

I have a lead on a 800mile FE for $59,995. I don't like the manager of the dealership so I'm not giving them free advertising. I can check it out on request.

If the seller would agree, have it taken to a Viper Tech to have it all checked-out. It could be just "minor" scratches on the facia and sills, but just to be sure nothing else more substantial...

Yes, GREAT price!
Get it checked out as others have mentioned. If it has not been in a accident, then buy it, pay a couple hundred more to paint the parts and you are set!

Got it checked out by a Viper Tech and a VCA Member from San Diego. They say everything looks ok, the frame is straight and it doesnt look like the car had been in any significant accidents. The only thing is the facia has been scraped up pretty bad and the side sill has a small ding. What do you think it will cost me to repaint the facia, fix the small ding on the side sill and repaint?

That's a freakin steal if all it really needs is a little paint. If you start getting into much more, you could be looking at a pretty steep bill!

The FE still has the factory warranty for 4 months, Any other things i should look for before i take the plunge!

Seems odd, FE's came with 7 years / 70,000 mile warrenty from the factory in 2002. Maybe the sold / inservice date was not when they were running this deal.
When was the inservice date? Middle of 2002 should be under the 7 /70 Mine was July 2002 and it has the 7 / 70.

I bought my 2002 ACR new last July 03 and it does come with 7/70 with no extra charge. I think it is a good price for a FE. What number is it?
