Which should win? I have a guy I work with talking smack with the GSXR and we just haven't had a chance to hook up yet. Anyone raced one or have any opinions?

I raced one from a 40mph roll a couple of years ago and he was in my mirrors the whole time. This was before I had nitrous as well.

GSXR 600's are 11.3 - 11.9 @ 122-126mph in the 1/4 mile(depending on rider). So if you're in that ballbark you should have a good race.

Roll race him and you'll get him. Like IEATVETS says at about 40 MPH. I've done it with bikes up to 750 ccs,no chance against a 1100 or 1300 Busa, will need twin turbos for that. Works like a charm. Your advantage in a role race with your car is all the torque the venerable V10 makes. It just sling shots you in front and keeps pulling.

MOST 600s are capable of those numbers, but MOST riders are NOT!

If you've got headers, exhaust, tubes/filters, you will be able to beat 600s without problem from a roll.

it all depends on the driver. a good rider on a bike will be in 1st in a 40mph roll. if he can ride out his little wheelie when he whacks the throttle you might be in trouble. you will pass him on the big end though.

He'll be passed up as soon as you hit 3rd gear! Then it's all over!

I've had guys run me 5 times back to back with the same results on 600s. It was always the same.
They can't believe it! They never can! :D

Well I raced a bike, but it wasn't a GSXR. I was on my way home from the track yesterday and happened to run into 4 bikes. One GSXR600, and 3 that were Ninja636s'. When I asked who was the fastest one guy stepped up to the plate immediately. It was one of the 636s'. We rolled 4 times from about 60mph. I was very surprised. The guy was an excellent rider and never missed a beat. Every time I would pull up a little bit up to 110mph then he would come back up beside me and usually get the nose until about 125mph. That's the top of my forth gear due to my 3.55 gears. After that I think I would start to pull away if we kept going. He had a very strong 3rd gear and seemed to flatten out some after that. I think I may have done better with stock gears, but it was awesome anyway.
