Ahhhh yes, the open bars!! What a fabulous time. Thanks Dodge! The night of the Wildhorse was mother of parties! The food, the flying Ram, the open bars, dancing with Pam, the female singer from St. Louis. And to think, I made the first autocross session in the morning.

$700 was never spent better.

Nice meeting you Iowa guys,

DN

Boy did you mirror everyone's thoughts. $700 to Dodge for VOI-7 was one of the best investments any of us could have made this year. What a great thing, it is in life ,to have a Viper!

Besides the travel expenses for the round trip I think that $700 is NO money for such an event - thanks DODGE!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the next one,and I'll pay whatever it is, and I'll have a great time...... but I guess I was spoiled in St Louis. We got alot more in St. Louis. Everytime you sat down to eat anything there was another gift waiting for you, and it was all cool stuff. Hell, I got home and was giving stuff to my kids and friends people at work. Then again, we got scolded by some hi-up guy in Dodge because people stole extra hats for themselves, oh and we got reamed for the missing banners. Plus, the track at Gateway was longer...... we had more of the track to run on.........but then again, more people crashed. Did the instructors this year get on anyone's nerves? I almost stopped in the middle of the track and threw the guy out. Very inconsistent. Some of the guys were okay, but some spoke with marbles in their mouths and I couldn't understand a word they were saying till they started yelling and I wanted to smack-em.

The Wild Horse? Please. That guy up there was starving for participation. There were not enough tables for everyone. You had to balance the food on counter tops. And when the band came on? I don't know.....seems to me there were just not enough people who enjoyed the country music, not to mention the Saturday night dinner? That was embarrassing! Everyone got up and walked out when the band came on. I think in ten minutes the room was empty.

But yeah, even though some things were "less", it was good, had a great time and I'll go again. And BTW, interesting people is an understatement.

Where is the next VOI? Is there a next VOI? How about the northeast?

Oh, one last comment. We need and Italian from the Bronx to organize the deserts.

Was your time at Nashville Speedway part of the $700
registration fee? I thought I saw somewhere it cost an
extra $695.00 to put your car on the track. Judging by
all the photos that y'all have posted it looked like a
giant Viper orgasam, not even my feeble brain could have
pictured anything that absolutely cool..Lucky Guys & Gals!

It was my first VOI and it was excellent, even better than expectations, I'm going to suffer withdrawal symptoms for some time. Great to meet a lot of new friends, looking forward to VOI 8

qburge,
the extra $695 was for the Viper Days event. That was an extra 2 days on the track. The $700 did include some track time. If you want to learn the limits of yourself and your car, $695 for Viper Days is very well spent.

Joe117,
I didn't hear of any crashes at VOI this year. doesn't mean it didn't happen, just I didn't hear of any.

My only complaint was at the Sat night banquet, the waiters, I think had standing orders to stop bring wine to the tables and instead, push coffee.

That really sucked because the Merlot was quite tasty and the red swill out in the lobby was no longer acceptable...
