Yeah, I'm looking forward to the next one,and I'll pay whatever it is, and I'll have a great time...... but I guess I was spoiled in St Louis. We got alot more in St. Louis. Everytime you sat down to eat anything there was another gift waiting for you, and it was all cool stuff. Hell, I got home and was giving stuff to my kids and friends people at work. Then again, we got scolded by some hi-up guy in Dodge because people stole extra hats for themselves, oh and we got reamed for the missing banners. Plus, the track at Gateway was longer...... we had more of the track to run on.........but then again, more people crashed. Did the instructors this year get on anyone's nerves? I almost stopped in the middle of the track and threw the guy out. Very inconsistent. Some of the guys were okay, but some spoke with marbles in their mouths and I couldn't understand a word they were saying till they started yelling and I wanted to smack-em.
The Wild Horse? Please. That guy up there was starving for participation. There were not enough tables for everyone. You had to balance the food on counter tops. And when the band came on? I don't know.....seems to me there were just not enough people who enjoyed the country music, not to mention the Saturday night dinner? That was embarrassing! Everyone got up and walked out when the band came on. I think in ten minutes the room was empty.
But yeah, even though some things were "less", it was good, had a great time and I'll go again. And BTW, interesting people is an understatement.
Where is the next VOI? Is there a next VOI? How about the northeast?
Oh, one last comment. We need and Italian from the Bronx to organize the deserts.
