There's a 1994 Red RT-10 in a Auto Sales Magazine this week here in Tn. Here's what all it say's: red, dark gray interior, Factory A/C, Garage Kept and moved often to keep tires from flat spotting & only 900 miles! This guy bought the car new and is only asking $45,000 for it, which I thought was dirt cheap. Any comments on this? The guy's name is Doug and his number is 615-890-8376
He also has the factory top and windows which have never been put on the car. Thanks

Here's a picture of the car.

That is a very fair price. My neighbor sold his 93 with 1,200 miles for $44,000 last year. You might want to run the Vin # to make sure that it does not have any issues?

Jason I suggest you do a search of the board for posts dealing with older cars with low miles.

I know some very knowledgable people here told of how bad it is to have a car that old with so few miles.

There is a possiblity that the car was not run to operating temperatures often enough. This could result in the interior engine parts rusting.

The picture also looks as if the car may have been housed up north. SOme people believe this impacts the car even more if the owner did not take care to regularly run the car to operating temperatures.

Some people even stated that even if the car was turned over and ran it still needs to actually be driven. You should also look into tire rot.

Please check it out first you may be getting more/less than you bargined for.

I looked at at one in Marysville that was marked at $39,000. It has 1,100 miles on it. I would go through it. Sitting is usually worse for a car than driving it.

Good Luck.

The car's VIN and everything check's out fine. This guy is very good friends with this areas Viper Club President (Eric Johnson). The is located in Murfreesboro, Tn just east of Nashville. I just got off the phone with Doug about this car and he said he starts the car on a regular basis to keep anything in the motor from gumming up and moved to keep the tires from flat spotting.

Hey Jason, I bought my '93 this spring with 2000 miles. No A/C, all original, no mods - $39,500.

I wish I had the extra $$ to buy a rare 1995 Yellow / TAN that is out here. Only 2200 miles. 100% bone stock, not even tubes/filters. Rare and beautiful.

If ya like the yellow, and the best-built sidepipers, this is da 1........ $46K

Jason let us all know how this turns out.

With the economy tanking you probably will be able to pick up jsut about any car fairly cheap in the next 6 to 12 months.

Cash will be king.
