Will a 96 Viper dash fit a 93?

are they both the fuzzy gray crap? or is the 96 nice? I am attempting to replace my fuzzy one. (I know i can paint it, but might be able to get a 96 dash)

Thanks in advance!

Yes it will fit, I have a 96 on my 95, I am assuming it is an RT/10 96 dash and it's black? THe 96 GTS has the newer nice material which will not fit as I originally tried that route. Grab that 96 dash if you can, it is no longer made, discontinued.

Here is the dash in my 96 RT.

You must be registered for see images

It is not dark black, but more like dark gray. Looks very nice.
And it should fit all Gen1.

Yes, looks much better for me. But you will probably need to match some other parts as well.

oh yeah, i guess like the 2 interior door handle surrounds and i guess the peice that surrounds the shifter... anything else?

not sure i have to see, if it doesnt come with everything, then i might as well just paint mine to have it all match.

so the only difference between the 93 dash and 96 is that one has fuzzy gray paint, and the other is a dark gray?

On my 96 the dash is black. To get it to really match you will probably want to consider replacing the knee bolsters (which are black on the 96 RT - different from the GTS). On the 96 RT's the door panels, center console and knee bolsters are all black.

The 96 Dash does not come with the Glove box door. The color is technically black...It is a very "flat" color which makes it look dark grey, but I have to say it looks much closer to Black than grey. It is considered Black for all intensive purposes. The separate parts which I had to get are...

Glove box door
Console piece (around shifter, ash tray, radio
Door handle surrounds ( these are the same material)

Most people are just having all of their parts refinished and Painted. The material is so sensitive it is just a matter of time before it ends up getting scratched again...If mine get scratched I am giving up and painting..Good Luck.
