96 GTS Gas Cap Cover

Thinking about chroming my Gas Cap cover and seem to get mixed feed back on wither it still fits good or not after chrome. I have heard both ways. Please help!

Yes, Cal Chrome will be doing all the chroming that I need but the question is how is the fitment after?
