Hello,
I'm a new member but I've already run across an issue. My right rear caliper sheered off at the mount. Should I just replace the caliper with stock or upgrade, any suggestions would be great. Also does anybody know of a Viper tech in Northern California(north of San Francisco) Thank you. Gregg

Hi Greg,
Many ways to go. Dave sells a great package for the money or you can go with Tom, F&L GoR's. He re-builds the stock calipers to 40 MM(38MM is stock) and provides a balanced braking system. I have some spare rear calipers if you need them.

That's a new one. Details, please. I wonder if the bolts were loose and gave way.

If you need mounting hardware, let me know. I probably have spare bolts, sleeves, etc.

OEM piston is 36mm, the casting can go out to 40mm for 23% more clamping force to complement the front brakes well. I'd need a re-buildable caliper in exchange, though.

Please let us know what happened.

I just got ********** and wanted my car done fast, so I ended up bringing to the dealership and I needed a new caliper, knuckle, pads etc... $2239.00. There are no Viper people that I know of in my area. Thank you to all for the help and kind replys. I just now looked at all of em' Gregg

If it's not too late, I'll pay shipping if I can have the caliper for parts.

Now that the insensitive question is done, what happen to the car - did the dealer suggest anything?
