I have a '99GTS and have driven the ACR's as well. Do yourself a big favor. Find yourself a really nice car first. Second, try to find your really nice car in the color you like. Last, worry about whether it's an ACR or GTS. You sound like you'll be doing the kind of driving I do. Believe me, the GTS will do all that stuff just fine. Whatever you buy will most likely have the K&N's and smoothies because everyone on the planet who has a Viper has installed them. As far as resale value, the condition and appearance of the vehicle will take major presedence over whether it's an ACR or GTS. If you like driving your car and you like keeping it clean, the BBS wheels are a mother....even with EBC green stuff brakes. You have a dozen posts here saying to buy the ACR...I like the GTS. Buy a nice, cared for car in the right color. You'll be happier!

I dont think the ACR is that much better then the GTS. No one really knows what to do with the adjustable shocks anyway. YOu can make up the 10 hp ... if you'd even know the difference. If you are serious about tracking the car get an '01. The ABS is what will help you on the track...ACR or GTS, ABS is clutch!

Lol, no one knows how to adjust them huh ? There is absolutely nothing special about me, I am a Project Manager, and cars are just a hobby for me, I easily adjusted my shocks including ride height (lowered the car at least 1/2 an inch), changed the rebound and dampening, and made adjustments for either track or street use. So sorry, I can NOT concure with you on that one. If your not afraid to experiment (document STOCK LOCATION FIRST), then ok you wont use it, but if you realize its just a car, not magic, and are willing to try to adjust the shocks, you will really enjoy the ride control/comfort that you can dial in.

They make nice cared for cars the right color in ACR's as well with more standard options to make you even happier!

The shock adjustments make a big difference. You can really feel the difference in just one click. I know of some GTS and some RT-10 owners who installed the Koni ACR shocks and they say it was one of the best mods they did.
