A 2001 RT/10 With A Rear Defroster/Defogger Button???

Hello everyone. I thought this looked a bit weird as I have NEVER seen this before. I was looking on eBay and saw a Viper for sale with a rear Defroster/Defogger button next to the window switches. Is this normal? Anyone have one like this? Here is a picture to help you all out:

Apparently it has a custom interior and the wrong bezel was re-installed. (Yellow Knee bolsters give that one away.

yup gts benzel.
rt/10 have no rear window defrost option.. but then again don't need it if the window
is in the trunk

Yeah this is a bit confusing to me. If it is an RT/10 this should not be there. Maybe it is a defect?

Maybe the previous owner installed the switch for some aftermarket accesory. I have contemplated doing something similar for my garage door opener. I plan on installing it under the armrest, since that space is vacant and running a wire to a button to activate it.

Just a thought.
