I noticed that some black tarlike substance is on the very front housing of the A/C compressor (north of the belt on the tip of the pully) and has thrown melted tar around the front of the engine bay (very little). Noticed a little rubber burning smell the last time the car came back. Is the compressor going or die on me? Maybe something from the road?
