I'm looking to but a 2003 - 2006 Convertible.

-Do those have adjustable pedals?

-How many ways does the seat adjust? just forward and back, or does it tilt and recline also.

-Will the A/C keep the cabin cool on a really hot day with the top up?

I have hears that the crossover pipe makes the cabin hot,
-how bad is it really?

-Do they all have a 6-disc CD changer?

-Does the stereo have the ability to add an AUX/iPod input?

thanks,
~Jay

Jay.

Pedals are fully adjustable with a small electric switch under your right knee

Seat adjusts forward and back, plus the seatback is fully adjustable, leaning forward and back, unless the seat is fully rearward, which limits the reward tilt due to the bulkhead. Seats are really comfortable with good lateral support.

A/C works terrific. Keeps the cabin cool, even in hot, humid weather.

The crossover behind the seats tend to put heat into the interior, but the A/C can handle it. Many people simply remove the cross overs, or install straight out Corsa exhausts which give a better sound, run cooler, and do not drone. (Saves a bunch of weight too).

03 has 6 disk changers, unless replaced with GPS unit, which I believe has only 1.

No factory iPod, but many have modified to put iPod in glove compartment or center compartment. Accessory power is available via cigarette lighter on center console.

Paul got it mostly right....
The electric switch for adjusting the pedals is ABOVE your knee...not below it!

and the crossovers can be replaced by later year exhaust take-offs that fit perfectly!
It makes quite a difference!

I am now a week away, my offer was just accepted on a 2004. The owner is on vacation, so I can't get the car before next weekend.

I like the idea of stock vs. aftermarket. How does the sound compare?

iPod followup, is there a Dodge iPod adapter designed for the Viper radio?

thanks,
~Jay

From what I remember there was one made but most owners that installed it ended up having electrical problems after the install so most have stayed away from the kit.
