From the beautiful Kansas Speedway today...
Unfortunately, I noticed tonight that my digital camera has some dust or something inside the lense housing. That would explain why just about every shot I took today was blurry. DANG IT! Hope you enjoy these anyway...
Oh, and the SRT (and all the Vipers) pulled quite a crowd. There were Porsches, Ferrari's, Corvettes, Jaguars, and old Mustangs invited to this fundraiser. Yet the Vipers pulled the crowds, especially the SRT as many people hadn't seen them yet. The TV crew interviewed some folks who told them that their favorite cars there were the Vipers - especially that black SRT-10! Yes, I now have that on tape.
Another guy came by that was a Porsche owner and he couldn't stop fawning over the SRT. Said it was "an absolute work of art that should be in the Louvre" and "the best looking sports car I have ever seen, including my Porsche" (a 993 I believe). Even my wife was laughing as this guy just went on and on about this goofy Stratomaro2000. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
(I will throw the more GTS-focused pictures to that forum)
