A little help in SoCal please....

A few of us Vipers as well as other cars are going to Willow Springs Raceway on Sept. 5th. Unforunately the people we used the last time to supply us with transponders to time our laps are gone. Does anybody know anyone who can time 45 cars, or point me in the direction of someone who might know, thanks.

The TCRA (Touring Car Racing Association) just purchased a transponder setup. I do not know if they would be willing to rent it out. Talk to Said Abu-Qartoumy of the So Cal VCA. He apparently knows some of the people in the TCRA and can get you in contact with them.

Why don't you guys just get Hot Lap Timers? You can get them on SupersonicRacing.com for pretty cheap. They're better than transponders anyway because you can see the times as you do them. I should be there with a sending unit so all you really need is the receiving unit if you want to save a buck or two.
