Go to www.hhtrailer.com and in the next day or two you will see the lowest angle open trailer ever built!! These guys are unreal with tons of Car Magazines currently picking up their trailers for personal ( not promotional ) use. This trailer will blow you away, and I am going down to see the finished product tommorrow( already seen the prototype ) and I will get back and report to all!! I have one of their V Nose Trailers on order for myself, and I have never seen any trailer with the quality or innovations H & H has ---especially for the price. Check out their website and I will get back with full info tommorrow or Saturday.

PS - Curtis is a past Viper owner, and looking again, and this was his motivation, as the Snake has the lowest front overhang of any exotic he has owned.

If you call, tell them you saw this on the VCA board.

Bill,
I have just received my 2003 HH tiltbed open trailer. I hope I got a long enough one to put my viper on. Hopefully will find out soon since you (woodhouse) should have my engine back from arrow by now. Let me know when its ready.

I've seen their ads in Auto-Trader. It shows a Viper on a trailer

Seems they make every sort of trailer imaginable.

Bill...Sorry, but in all good concience I could not buy from them. Their map does not indicate the existence of "Blair" Nebraska. How could someone who does not even know where the midwestern center of ViperWorld is located make a Viper friendly trailer.
Just kidding. Thanks for the tip on a viperhauler.
Anyone know what trailer issues will be on a new 03'

Just around the corner from my place. I'll have to go check it out for myself. Bill, are you going to test the trailer with the snake today or are you just going to look? If the weather co-operates I'd like to see mine up on the trailer today.

Heh, Jet Mech,

H & H is having a big intro at the County Show Grounds over in Clarinda , Iowa , today. I got lucky, and my two year old trailer was totaled by hail, and I have been reimbursed by American Family ( check in hand in 1 day, unbelievable service ). I was tired of all the dust that seeped in my trailer, as well as some moisture, and we had a customer come up here with one of the enclosed rigs. I was blown away by the trick roof ( no leaking ), posi-vent system that keeps dust out of your trailer fairly effectively, and the build quality. After checking out his 24ft ,tandem axle, I started doing research and found out Curtis Hull ran the business ( with his brothers ) and he had purchased a Snake from us 2 years ago. He is a very humble guy, but technically scary --- get Woodhouse and him together and they would probably talk hours about weld angles, sheet formatting, flux capacitors, etc., ha! Anyway, I wanted to see their full line, and Craig Hull ( Sales Mgr ) , told me about this new trailer with barely over a 5 degree approach angle ( industry best is around 7.5 ) and I figured I would actually use my day off to wander over and check it out. We have alot of Viper customers and racers that are always asking about trailers to take their Vipers to tracks, and the Sloan Quik-Load has been the only option I knew of. I am pretty sure they will have the show tommorrow also, if you can make it today. Maybe we will see you over there.

PS - I actually already ordered a V-Nose 24 footer to replace my 20ft totaled one,but since they haven't started building it, I figured it might give me a chance to see if I wanted to change anything?

I will post all the particulars tommorrow, but the main question probably being asked is ..............." Is that Stainless Steel?"

YES!! Unreal build and the entire thing is electric , including the support ramps that come out with a button too !!!

Birvini- I don't recall ever talking about this with you before? I've had my car to Woodhouse for alot of other things.

Jason- I also have a warranty but when I had my car there, all they did was put on new head gaskets and send me home. How did you get them to send your car's engine to Arrow?!

Matt, it wasn't my decision. I told them my symptoms, and they checked it out. Before I knew it, it was on its way. Everything has gone super smooth. I'm having some major viper withdrawal symptoms myself.

In answer to Hoosier Daddy, " All the cars on the lot are fine,as the hail storm hit a narrow band soutn of town about 5 miles, and that is where my trailer was stored. All the Vipers are in a 60x100 building, so that is never a problem.

The stainless steel H & H Trailer does not have a firm price yet, but I am guessimating around the $5000 area. This is entirely Stainless, and if you look toward the front of Mr O's photo you will not a smooth triangular cover at the front. That lifts up, the electric controls lift out ( similar in look to hand held controls for a wrecker or a boom-lift ) and you control the up/down motions by hand. Very user friendly and simple to operate. This also controls the support ramps that slide out electrically also. This is the top of the line for this type of trailer and the fender height is only 6 inches, so you do not have to take off the fenders , ever. They make an inexpensive tilt trailer for around $1800,and another tilt around $2500 ( electric ). But for the show car, race circuit, this is the lowest degree angle approach and the build quality is unreal!!!

The worst part about going down to this show, is that I changed my order. The pricing is very reasonable and even more so after seeing the quality. The roof structures and the posi-vent system to keep the interior of the trailer dry and less dusty are really cool -- heck just check out their website.

Mr. Ortega zips down in his pristine 96 RT-10 with a very attractive young lady!! She seemed to follow him everywhere he went and was a joy -- never complaining as he listened to info on strength, warranties, welding processes, etc. Okay, it was his adorable daughter, but she was enjoying an outing with Daddy in his Viper. It was a hoot to be behind them on the way back towards Omaha. My son and I were in his Nissan P/U and James would motor away from stopsigns and we would disappear in the distance. We were laughinig so hard, as flooring the truck did nothing except allow us to keep him within sight- I bet he never hit much more than 4,000 rpm. It was fun to behind a Snake and see the raw power slither down the highway. Thanks for LETTING us follow you Mr. O, as we were huffing and a-puffing to stay up,ha!!

Confused here: Bill, you are talking as if the trailer is enclosed, yet the picture shown is of an open trailer. Am I missing something? If it is enclosed, what are the dimensions?

Sorry for the confusion John, I was referring to the trailer I personally am getting. I had an enclosed trailer that was hail damaged and I ordered a new one from H & H after seeing their product. Craig Hull invited me to come down and see their new ,electric, low angle, stainless steel open trailer, during their special show and I ,and James Ortega , went down to check it out. Most folks seem to want an open trailer for their Snakes, and the big problem with all types is the entry angle. This info and James's photo were for the folks wanting an open trailer. My problem was after going to the show, I am changing my order and getting a larger enclosed trailer as the prices and quality blew me away -- they have alot of new innovations from the last time I saw one of their rigs.

Bill, how big of trailer are you getting? Will an SRT fit between the wheel well or do they have the ramp over options like some other manufactures? Do they put a longer extention on the ramp door to help on the approach angle needed for a Viper? Do they have an option to get the inside finished out with cabinets, checkboard floor, and etc?

They can do it all , and I am getting diamond plate floors. The President ( Curtis Hull ) is a very humble , technical guy, and he doesn't toot his own horn, but this operation is huge. We have gone through alot of trailers here ( shipping Snakes ) and having seen all of our Viper Days buddies trailers, I can honestly say I have never seen as nice a trailer for the price they charge. If price is out of the equation I can also say I have never seen any trailer with so many innovations and attention to detail. Call me and I will be happy to tell you all about what Ortega and Pemberton saw!!

Bad byte: Did they tell you that a 20 ft electric tilt would work? That's the one I just got (2003 model). It better work is all I can say. I guess I'll find out this weekend. What are they doing to help you and what are your options?

MATT: I'm sending you an e-mail. This thread is about trailers.

Nice to see someone is excited about their newest product. I've been waiting almost 3 months for a replacement to the one I picked up last June.

The new design looks awesome and I'd love to have one, heck I'd love to have what I was told I would have in the first place.

I picked up an 18 foot electric tilt bed and was told I wouldn't need ramps to load my 94. WRONG! I still need ramps. To their credit they seem to be working with me, however I sure don't seem to be any kind of priority.

Word of caution, try it before you buy it. The approach angle on various year models is different.

Intech Equipment in Phoenix is who I purchased through. They are also working with me but only at a price.

PS: I have spoken with Mandy, Julie, and Calvin. Craig was in the hospital when I was having my difficulties. They do a great job AVOIDING communications with troubled customers. Just my opinion, and experience.
