I just put a deposit down on a 2002 Graphite GTS, and hopefully soon will be part of the Viper nation! I am really excited, if you can't tell, because I have been dreaming about this car since it was introduced. When I first saw pictures of the GTS-r concept, I thought I wanted a 2003. Ultimately, I decided to get the 2002 because the body-style is definitely better on the Gen I and II's. I have been keeping up with the message board, and I have to say that Viper owners are really cool people; really down-to-earth, and helpful. Look forward to meeting some of you in my area (Sacramento). Thanks.

Good Luck Jerry! Graphite will obviously be a VERY rare color!

Also, Does anyone know any possible ship dates for the 2002's?

2002 Viper began ahead of schedule, tuesday of last week. The first week is ACRs. I have a friendly wager here that CAAP will begin shipping in November.....maybe sooner, now that they are 1-week ahead of schedule.

However: Did you get a VON # or a VIN # from your dealer? Your car could be a ways out............

You are welcome to call me about the process, too convoluted and long to type right now

Jon, Thanks for the help. Chad, I just might take you up on that. Does anyone out there have HRE wheels, andwhat do you think of them? Were they worth the $5000?
