With my '94 & '96 Vipers, the Mopar batteries were junk. I had it replaced 3 times under warranty on my '96, and one of the replacements was bad. I switched to a Douglas Battery and was fine thereafter. That said, so far my 2000's battery is still working fine, but if it goes, I will just buy a Douglas...warranty or not.

why wouldn't you do something about this when you first noticed that you were having trouble? if you didn't want to mess with this why didn't you take it to your dealer or a dealer? you could have pulled the battery & taken it to an auto zone (they would have checked the battery for you, & it's free), i suggest that you go buy a new battery either from the dealer or walmart, also purchase a battery tender & use it.

You say your Viper is 3 months old yet I see fog light covers(last year was 99) in your picture. If your 98 or 99
Viper is still under warranty let Dodge honor, if not take it
to Autozone like HEMIDAYTNA said.
