Wanted to query the SRT forum about ABS. Is the ABS on the SRT a separate system or is it actually incorporated into the PCM? My question stems from the interest of removing it and its components and installing it on a GEN2 car. Back in 99 I put an ABS system (5 channel Bosch from a Porsche converted to 4 channel) on my 97GTS. There was a lot of mods needed for that and I am searching for an easier way. I also think I have been given the right info about the GEN2 ABS (2001,2002 models) but would like to hear opinions on that also.

Thanks!

What info are you referring to about the 01/02 system, that it's integrated into the PCM?

There is a seperate controller for the ABS on the 01/02 models called the "CAB" module. It's located below the driver side headlight behind the fascia.

Don't know too much about the 03 :)

Don't know if this helps or not. This is the first page from the service manual on the ABS system.
