ACR Baffle Oil Pans

Does anybody know how many ACR cars came or come with the baffled oil pans. I was under the impression it was a limited number? Thanks for your help. Did the different years have different options besides comfort group and brake ducting fog light delte? Thanks for the help?

No ACRs came with the baffled pan. It was a sore spot with some owners as it was specified in the brochure. Only options - were adding the comfort group BACK in for a measly $10K and stripes.

Actually the comfort group in 2000 cost $910.

Thanks Janni. I was speaking a gentleman who is writing an article for a mopar magazine and he said that there was a limited number of cars produced with the baffled oil pans and that there was a controversy because it was stopped after some discussion at the plant with Chrysler executives. I just wanted to make sure I was correct before I called him back.

Camfab - oops - sorry - you are right - I was thinking that you paid to have it removed (about $10K for the ACR package) and then paid again to have it added back in!

Janni is correct they did ad the literature to some of the ACR manuals but no oil pans were ever installed.Thanks Janni for that clarification
