Has anybody had their ACR wheels chromed or seen any pictures of chrome ones on a Viper?

I'm thinking about doing mine? Thanks for the help.

I haven't seen anyone post a pic of this although I think someone in/near Dallas just had it done. I think it would look good and similar to the HRE 540's in chrome.

Hey BlackACR,

Yes I have a few questions if you don't mind?

- How much did you pay for the job? no need to be exact.
- Who did the job for you?
- How long did it take?
- How long is the warranty on the plating?
- And pleeeeeease send me some pictures ASAP. ([email protected])

Thanks for your help.

P.S. My ACR is Silver and Blue. Do you think the chrome would look good with my color combo?

Yes, it will look killer on your car. I was going to buy a set of 19" HRE's till this guy showed my a set of ACR wheels plated. The 19" wheels will destroy the some what ok ride I have now any way. I will e-mail with all the info. The way the ACR wheels are designed they almost look like a 19"

I thought I had a picture of Tony's ACR Chrome wheels, but I
can't find it... anyway they look very very nice. I also
saw an ACR chrome next to a Kenisis chrome (k20) this morning and
they both looked fantastic but I think I like the cleaner lines
and not so many bolts on the ACR wheels... I think you'll like
them very much.

Aftermarket modular wheels are chromed before assy. The issue with the ACR wheel is that sometimes the chrome will have a gold tint to it on all the corners. Have a look at the chromer's work on a piece like yours before having it done. They sometimes don't finish well. dj

CCW out of California has done numerous plating jobs for me. Porsche rims, Vette rims and many parts. Never any gold tint to any of CCW's work. David you may need to find a more reputable plating facility.

Anthony, you misunderstood. It wasn't my plater, it was someone else's hack job. No good platers in Texas? Why did you use a guy in Cali? I was just trying to tell this cat what to look for. My plater is very reputable. dj

The best platers in the US are in California. Most of your top wheel companies are in California as well.
