Have any of you ACR folks driven your car any significant highway distance? Does it's ride compare favorably to the GTS, or does it knock your teeth out? Or, does it depend on the shock settings? Thanks.
The stock shock settings are "full soft" for jounce and rebound which is fairly comfortable for long trips or cruising around town. Probably a touch stiffer than a GTS. Also leave the springs set to the factory spec as lowering the car will adversely effect ride quality. Other than that, have a blast!
I've taken 100 + mile cruises no problem with teeth or rattles here. Just last week I took my uncle for a ride and he could not believe how nice a ride the car had on the road. He drives a Taurus and a big Buick.
I bought my ACR from WI and drove back to VA, it was an 830-mile drive, and the car felt great. Very smooth and not harsh at all. Many Viper owners warned me about how the ACR would have a stiff ride, but it feels a lot softer then many cars I have driven.
